I love a casually elegant room. What makes a room give you that "Ahh..." factor? Often it's the harmony between the elements of design - space, line, form, color and texture. How do you create that kind of space in your living places? In my experience one of the most effective ways to accomplish creating a cohesive look in a room is with color - wall color, fabric, flooring and accessories. Do you prefer a monotone look or a room with bold contrast? Mixed patterns or an all white room?
